ReVolt to debut diesel-electric hybrid

A new hybrid drivetrain retrofit is being brought to market by ReVolt Motors, which will show its first truck at the upcoming Mid-America Trucking Show.

It claims about 40% fuel savings with its series hybrid design, which will be displayed in a Peterbilt Model 379. ReVolt claims to be the only U.S.-based company offering fleets and owner-operators a hybrid drivetrain that doesn’t compromise performance, yet slashes emissions.
